Ramya, Ornamental Jewelry

Ramya, Ornamental Jewelry

I was going for daily wages work earning Rs 100 per day, when there was work. I married Sathiskumar, who works as a milk vender. His parents are very poor, elderly, and sickly. We could not meet our expenses with both our wages.

I was able to join SHWET and start my business selling ornamental jewels with my first loan. I purchase in bulk and take the jewels to different villages , earning Rs 500 a day from my sales. With these earnings, I can give good treatment to my father-in-law and care for my mother-in-law as well.

In eight years of marriage we still have no children.
